These are the terms you agree to when you buy from mtheory.in. They cover what we sell, how orders and payment work, when you can send something back, and what we are and are not responsible for.
mtheory.in is operated by M Theory Personal Care Pvt. Ltd., registered at Andheri East, Mumbai 400069, Maharashtra, India. .
In these terms, "we", "us" and "the m theory" mean that company. "You" means the person placing an order or using the site.
By browsing the site, creating an account or placing an order, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not order.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under Indian law. We currently ship within India only. By ordering, you confirm the delivery address you give us is correct and that you are entitled to use the payment method you choose.
We sell cosmetic skincare. Our products are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or skin condition.
Before you use anything: read the label and the full ingredient list on the pack. Patch test on a small area first, particularly if your skin is sensitive or reactive. Stop using the product and speak to a doctor if you get irritation, redness or a rash. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are using prescription topicals, talk to your doctor before adding anything new.
Skin varies. Claims about how a product performs describe typical results, not a promise about your skin specifically. Where we cite published research on the site, we are describing evidence for an ingredient — not making a claim about what our product will do for you.
Product photographs are representative. Colour can differ slightly between screens, and packaging may change.
All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. The price you see on the product page is the price you pay, apart from any shipping charge shown at checkout.
We can change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already accepted. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honour it — we will tell you before we do.
Adding something to your cart is not an order, and our listings are an invitation to order rather than an offer. Your order becomes a contract only when we confirm dispatch.
We may decline or cancel an order where the item is out of stock, the price or description was wrong, we cannot deliver to your pincode, payment fails, or we reasonably suspect fraud or resale. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund you in full.
We accept UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and cash on delivery. Online payments are handled by a licensed payment gateway — we never see or store your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
For cash on delivery, you pay the courier in full when the parcel arrives. There is no extra handling charge. If a COD parcel is repeatedly refused or undelivered, we may decline COD on future orders.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Once a parcel is with the courier, its progress is outside our control — but if it is delayed or lost, tell us and we will chase it or replace it.
Risk passes to you on delivery. Please check the parcel on arrival and tell us within 48 hours if anything is damaged or missing, with photographs if you can.
You can return any product within seven days of delivery, opened or not. Message us on WhatsApp or email and we will arrange the pickup.
If a product arrives damaged, defective or not what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours and we will replace it or refund it in full, including shipping. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
You can cancel free of charge any time before dispatch — contact us as quickly as you can. Once a parcel has left us, treat it as a return under section 9.
If you take a subscription, you authorise us to charge the agreed amount at the agreed interval through a UPI AutoPay mandate or e-mandate on your card. We tell you before each charge, as the rules require.
We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your mobile number. Keep that number secure and do not share the codes. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for orders placed through it.
The text, photography, formulations, brand name and logo on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, scrape or republish them commercially without our written permission.
Please do not use the site to break the law, interfere with how it runs, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or resell our products without a written agreement with us.
We take responsibility for supplying products that match their description and are of satisfactory quality. Where we are liable for a defective product or a failed order, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We are not liable for a reaction caused by using a product against the instructions or the safety notice in section 4, for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for indirect losses such as lost income.
Nothing here excludes liability that Indian law does not allow us to exclude, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, though this does not affect your right to bring a consumer complaint before the consumer forum where you live.
We would rather sort things out directly. Please contact our Grievance Officer first.
We update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the current version, and the terms that apply to your order are the ones in force when you placed it.
For any complaint about an order, a product or this site, contact our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.
